How It Works

The innovative and unique curvature design of the BRAKE FREE Safety Bar makes it safe and easy for the user to release froze up brakes while standing beside the truck or trailer, eliminating the hazards of being underneath the unit. It can also be used on rusted brakes.There is no more crawling underneath with a hammer or heat torch. No more getting wet & dirty trying to fit in tight spaces with no room to work.

The reason it works so well is that it makes direct contact to the right spot where most of the ice accumulates on the inside surface of the brake drum. It creates a vibration that instantly releases the brake shoes from the brake drum.

You simply insert the tool into the holes of the rim of the wheels that have the froze-up brake. Align the tool with the center of the axle. Holding the guide tube in one hand and with the other hand drawing back the impact bar, then with a quick inward motion to make the direct contact that creates the vibration necessary to release the froze up brake.
